Amazing vet they really care about your individual needs and my rescue dog actually enjoys going! They took such good care of her when she had her first operation and sent regular updates and photos putting my mind at rest. Always give the best advice and trust them implicitly! Highly recommend for your fur babies

The crew at Wilbury are great! Professional and friendly. My Romanian rescue dog is not the easiest to deal with and there have been challenges with her treatment. Throughout, the doctors and supporting staff have gone the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes with the least amount of stress for her—and me. Highly recommend.

Peter, Anna and the team at Wilbury have been absolutely fantastic with my dog for his TPLO surgery. From start to finish I received a level of care and attention far exceeding any experience I've ever had at another vets. I couldn't be more grateful to them for their patience and reassurance and for treating my dog with the highest level of care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I've been attending Wilbury Vets for the past four years with my elderly cat, Orlando, and two dogs, Keeper and Riddley. The care and expertise provided by Wilbury are absolutely second to none. When I arrived in Brighton in 2021, I worried I wouldn't be able to find a vet as good as the one I had back in Birmingham. Fortunately, I found Wilbury - a proper veterinary practice headed by a registered vet rather than being part of a chain owned by a private equity firm. The difference really shows. Not only are the staff highly competent and knowledgeable, importantly, their handling skills are outstanding. In particular, one of my dogs is an ex-street dog, very highly strung and is indifferent to persuasion with food. He's been unfortunate enough to need quite a few procedures, including recent surgery on his anus, but Rosie and the nurses were so kind and just brilliant with him - he actually likes them, which is unusual for him. For me, it is this kindness and ability to handle sensitively that make all the difference. I'll also add that although some reviewers have commented on the cost of treatment, in my experience, Wilbury have always made efforts to keep the costs low, for example by combining procedures or offering a range of treatments at affordable prices. This is a huge help to me as a pensioner on a fixed income. I honestly cannot recommend Wilbury and all the staff there highly enough. The moment you step into the surgery, with its thoughtful separate waiting areas for cats and for dogs, you know you are in expert, kindly hands. I'm tremendously grateful to them for everything they have done for my dogs, who have undergone a fair amount of treatment over the years. A five-star service, without question: thank you Wilbury.

Jo at Wilbury Vets saved my puppy’s life. At 6 weeks old, our Daisy became extremely ill - open flesh wounds started to form all over her tiny body out of the blue, and on top of that, she was lethargic, had swollen eyes, ears and mouth and developed a limp. We tried vets in the area but none knew what the issue was - they all sent us away saying there’s nothing they could do. When I found Wilbury Vets, they were able to see us on the same day. Jo went over and above for our Daisy trying to establish a diagnosis (which was not straightforward at all), including contacting the Royal College of Vets for their views. After a few appointments and rounds of medication, the suspected diagnosis was an extreme case of puppy strangles / juvenile cellulitis. Even though Daisy’s chances of survival were very slim, Jo never gave up on her. After many (and long!) months of treatment, Daisy made a miraculous recovery - and it is all thanks to Jo. Daisy is almost 1 year old now, and I am still in disbelief over the fact that she is with us - and I am forever grateful to Jo, as well as the amazing ladies in reception who were so kind and helpful during that heartbreaking time. Yes, Wilbury Vets may be slightly more expensive, but the service is truly premium and there is clearly a lot more expertise than at other, perhaps cheaper, vets. If we had not come to Wilbury Vets, Daisy would truly not be here today. So, thank you to Wilbury Vets for the happiest year of our lives, filled with unconditional love, cuddles and laughter ❤️
