We sadly had to visit the practice out of ours to have our cat put to sleep. The team were very professional and compassionate during this difficult time.

This place charged us for our dog £800 for a night in a cage! £956 plus £467.94 plus £48.37 for one shot of Comfort 10mg. bag of saline £85 plus tax, `IV fluid set up £85!!!!! These people are not your friends. Find a different vet! These are in the business of making profits over clients. So much for the american company takeover. Disgusting.

Driving to a job I spotted a puppy hiding just off the side of the road in some bushes. I managed to get the poor thing and tried asking the local houses if they knew the pup. Unfortunately I received no answers. I took them to this vets who I had no previous experience with as they were the closest. They had no collar so hoped they could check the micro chip and get them some food and water. I cued up and they did ask if I was here to register the dog. I explained I just found them on the side of the road and just wanted some help. They were quick to act taking them to the back presumably for help. I was given a wildlife form to fill out what was made for wild animals not domesticated ones (it had questions like are you ok for them to be released back into the wild). I did this to the best of my ability. Afterwards they told me I couldn’t take them home quite firmly. I never asked them if I could, I just wanted them to be returned to their family! I called the next day to see how they where doing and was told there was no info on their micro chip and no one had come forward to claim them but they where being taken care off. I thanked them and asked to be updated on the progress. After a few months of no contact I e-mailed them asking how they were doing but received no response. I repeated this a few months later, again no response. After a year I phoned up, thinking the e-mails were not received. I was told very firmly I would not receive any update due to information sharing. I never asked for any protected info, just if they found their family or have another happy home. Every year I find at least 2 loose dogs on the roads, most I can return home independently. But never have I had anyone been so guarded and disrespectful when someone is just trying to help. Previously I have been given updates on the dogs I bring in when asked. By no means do I have to help these dogs but I have a heart so gladly miss work to do this. These people’s behaviour is truly bizarre, it really seems like they don’t care about people or the animals.

I cannot praise this place enough. My daughter's little dog broke her leg at 6.45p.m and we went there as an emergency. The kindness and professionalism was amazing. Sadly the dog had to lose her leg, but Joe did a brilliant job and found a slightly wobbly but happy little dog in the morning. I would recommend the place wholeheartedly

We’ve been using this veterinary practice since we moved to the area, and they’ve always been great. What’s prompted me to write this review, though, is the incredible kindness they showed recently when our much-loved elderly cat became very poorly. They saw us out of hours, gave us time, space, and such gentle support when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. Even when I went to collect his ashes, they were so thoughtful and compassionate. We also received a handwritten card in the post. That level of kindness matters so much – and we’ll never forget it. Thank you.
