Alex the vet was excellent - he spent a lot of time with our greyhound and made him feel very comfortable prior to his injection. The reception area is very spacious, and good-size car park. All the staff are always friendly.

Wow, thank you all so much! The whole team has been amazing – caring, friendly, and supportive. A massive thank you to Alex, who came in and performed a huge and tricky emergency operation on our dog. Not only did he carry out what can only be described as wizardry, but he also took the time to explain each step clearly, and we never once felt rushed. We’re so grateful to Siobhan for raising the alarm when it mattered most, and to Matthew and Sara for all your help and support – for Kobi and for us (we were a bit of a mess) – throughout his operation and recovery. And finally, thank you to Vicky on reception for being so friendly, calm, and helpful. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. ❤️🐾

£182 to euthanatise our cat. Not an emergency, not out of hours, no cremation. Absolute profiteering from death. Our mistake was not calling around local vets where we’ve since discovered the cost is around £90. The staff here should feel ashamed of themselves.

Yesterday we had to say farewell to our beautiful 17yr old Lola. She had upto the new year been a healthy fiesty most lovely cat. Since February time the care we received for two on going health issues were informative and helped her immensely. Sadly yesterday an unrelated issue saw me having to take Lola straight to claremonts in the morning. By the evening, as a family knew it was time to say goodbye. It was explained in great detail to us compassionately, allowing us to spend as much time as felt right in a calm atmosphere, we cannot thank the whole team there enough, but a special thank you to Sara the vet. I have been meaning to do a review for Claremont vets for some time. We have been customers for over twenty years. During that time a lot has changed. We have two dogs and until recently a cat. One of our dogs has monthly veterinary treatment. The team are fantastic. Alex, Carol, Tish and Kerry were incredibly supportive when I had to have our cat put to sleep a couple of months ago. Sara normally deals with our dog Poppy. She is incredibly thorough, professional and kind. We have also had great interactions with Vicky, Siobhan and Matthew to mention but a few. A big thank you to these wonderful people.

I had to leave this vet after a few years, as their prices were just not acceptable anymore. Especially considering that there are other vets in town offering the same treatments at half the price. And ditto to what another reviewer said - you go in for one thing, and they pile on more services and treatments that your pet probably doesn't even need. Also, alarmingly, my cat was on medication prescribed by them for years, only for another local - and more experienced vet - to tell me that long term use of the meds can cause feline diabetes - a fact Claremont had not even mentioned. Just glad to have found another local vet with better prices and better care.

Unfortunately have been in quite regularly recently and just had to write a review, every single person in the vets i saw was just incredible!! Everyone was a friendly face, offering help when needed, super lovely to both pets i brought in and also to me and my kiddos I had to bring along quite often! A special mention to our vet Sara though, she helped with my dog and cat and with both she was extremely informative, compassionate and just so great to have around at two very stressful times. Would recommend 1000%. Many thanks to all!! Just had to look online to find the name (once again EVERYONE was amazing) but also have to mention Tish as she has just been incredible :)
