There wasn’t an option for 0 starts so i’ll have to settle for 1. There’s no words to describe how shocking this vet practice is. July 2024 my dog has a small hotspot on his skin which eventually spread over his whole body. Got lied to do by a certain male vet here who said he was a skin specialist, only to see a different female vet the next time we went in who told us they don’t have skin specialists there. July 2025 they finally get a brain cell together to think of the idea to do a skin biopsy for my dogs condition, only to find out they were a year too late and he had a rare skin cancer. Complained to the practice manager about the lack of care and neglect towards my dog. Complaint got ignored and they tried to bribe us by giving us free medication. It wasn’t enough. Our dog had to eventually be put to sleep because of the neglect from this practice. If you want to pay 1000’s of pounds for them to kill your pet then this is the vets for you. Not only are they liars, they have no care for animals, no compassion for owners and apparently no common sense. Disgusting place.

They are an amazing practice. Our cat was hit by a car and left outside their practice, they got in contact with us, broke the news with compassion and sympathy. Then they allowed us time to come and view him and didnt rush us out the door. The most thoughtful part was that they helped us with the cremation. My daughter wanted to bring him home so they arranged for him to be taken to peacehaven and for him to be brought back as I do not drive. Now we have him back, paw prints and some of his fur. My daughter is so glad to have him home in one form or another and its all because of Sussex vets without them he would of just been thrown away and they did all this without making any money or having us as patients with them. Absolutley amazing.

It's really difficult to get an appointment as they ignore their phones for long periods. I presume they are overwhelmed but it's unacceptable if you're trying to get an appointment for a sick pet. Just gave up and went to another vet. Would NOT recommend

They never answer their phones. Every time I’ve tried ringing them it’s always at least a 15 minute wait for them to answer the phone. Pet car is okay, though they struggled to diagnose my cats condition, it was actually me who diagnosed him through googling after nearly a year of back and forth then me asking for this test. They’re nice there but not enough for me to continue taking my cat there

I really wouldn’t recommend going here if you need anything more than routine. Can’t fault the reception or nursing team always really kind and helpful. My young cat fell mysteriously ill, for the past 6 months have been back and forth to this vets, I understand the situation is complex but I have been charged an awful lot of money for no answers. I understand this cost is likely as they are owned by a large company but it makes you feel as they have no empathy or compassion. My cat has been left uncomfortable and miserable due to this, has just been prescribed the same ineffective medication again and again. He had a small operation to help him but unfortunately I was given WRONG post operative instructions making his situation worse. No actual in depth tests done, been diagnosed purely on guess work. I have since been to an alternative practice and had more help in the hour I was there than the past 6 months I have been trying here. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt due to the complexity of the situation but enough is enough. Won’t be returning here again.

Nice friendly welcome in arrival, appointment in time. Very nice vet explained everything he is doing. Glad I have pet plan with them.

Today had to take Gizmo my Maine Coon cross big cat as he was off his food. Both the receptionist and vet were awesome and gave Gizmo loads of cuddles even though they got covered in fur cos he is molting atm. Thank you guys. Have recommended you to a friend today.
