This is the second time we have called out the lovely Suzen to take care of one of our girls. She took such great care of our gorgeous Rottweiler Mizzie last year that when our gorgeous little girl Bobbie, our14 year old cat, recently took a turn for the worst we didn’t hesitate to call her. It Is a heart breaking time when you know what you have to do for your loved ones. Suzen treated our girls with compassion and respect. Our girls spent their last moments in their own home, relaxed and with the family that loved them. We can not recommend Suzen enough. So glad that we could look after our girls in such a respectful way. Many thanks to Suzen

It is the third time now that Suzen has looked after one of our babies. Our beautiful 10 & 1/2 year old Lara needed her help on the day after Boxing Day and we were so grateful that she could come out to her so quickly. The care and compassion that she gives out is unbelievable. The Vets2Home team takes what is a completely heartbreaking experience and actually manages to make it as peaceful, calming and as bearable as it can be. Thank you, Suzen for all your help and compassion looking after our babies.

A week ago, Dr Suzen visited my beautiful boy at home and the experience - from the first phone call to the Vets2Home team, to the collection of Postie's ashes less than a week later - was truly exceptional. Despite knowing he was reaching the end and letting me know that he'd had enough, making the final decision is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Dr Suzen was so kind and reassuring both to me and, most importantly, to Postie. She gave us all the time we needed; the process was peaceful and full of love for him and Dr Suzen spent time with me afterwards making sure that he was laid completely comfortably before we carried him outside to her car. He was a big greyhound but he was put into a lovely big bed with plenty of room, a pillow and a blanket and Dr Suzen even left a candle for him with me, which has meant such a lot ever since. Postie was so precious to me and sending him away afterwards was something I really dreaded but when the time came, I had no doubt that he was going be given the utmost care and respect. His ashes were hand-delivered by the team back to his vets and I received a personal text from Vets2Home to let me know he was ready for me to collect. I just wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team and their service to anyone. I know it's something none of us want to think about but there is a huge amount of reassurance in knowing that people like this exist. Thank you so much for making the worst of days as special as it could possibly be.

After struggling with diabetes, arthritis and kidney failure we made the difficult choice to send our 18 year old girl Flo over the rainbow bridge. The team at Vets2Home were incredible, everything was clearly communicated and the process was so considerate of what we wanted to do. I had really challenged whether it was the right thing, and the vet Emma was so knowledgeable and empathetic with us, which really put that to ease. I can’t imagine how difficult that job is to do but their ability to make the whole situation calmer was amazing. From initial contact to receiving Flo’s ashes, I couldn’t fault them for anything. I am Neurodivergent and having this level of detail and care at such a hard time was so important to me. Thank you Amanda & Emma, and the Vets2Now team ❤️

It’s taken me a while to get round to writing this. As it was such a difficult choice. But I can’t not praise Dr Suzan and her team enough for the support and dignified manor they helped and supported us, and ultimately our beloved cookie to pass on. A truely amazing and caring team. Thank you

Outstanding care and compassion by everyone involved in the care of our dog. Dylan's passing could not have been more peaceful. Dr. Suzen was so kind, and caring. Dylan could not have been in better hands. It was a blessing we could gift this kindness to our dog. I can not recommend highly enough Vets2home for a peaceful farewell to a beloved pet.

We can't thank Vets2Home enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed us during such a heartbreaking time. From Amanda and Andrea in the office, who responded so quickly and kindly to every email, to Andrea calling us exactly at the time we had requested to arrange for a vet to visit our beloved Rolly Pop – everything was handled with such professionalism and empathy. We were kept updated every step of the way, with timely emails and clear information about the process. When the day came, Dr Jo texted to let us know he was on his way and arrived exactly on time (which we really appreciated, especially in such a stressful moment). As soon as he arrived, a lot of the anxiety lifted. Although we were, of course, very emotional, Jo brought such a calm presence – nothing felt rushed, and everything was explained with kindness and patience. We were able to say goodbye to Rolly in his favourite spot on the sofa, and afterwards, we were given the opportunity to let Rolly’s sister, Mitsy, see him. This was gently encouraged to help her understand what had happened, and it really meant a lot to us to be able to do that. Even after the visit, when we decided to change our arrangements and collect Rolly’s ashes directly from the crematorium (Chestnut Lodge), the team were so accommodating and made sure everything was updated and confirmed for us quickly. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone involved. You helped make an unbearable experience just that little bit easier.

My wife and I had to make the devastating and sudden decision to have our beloved 9 year old Bulldog Evie PTS. She had deteriorated in such a short space of time, we realised it was the right thing to do before she really started struggling and losing what little quality of life she had. From the initial call on the Friday morning, to the arrival of the wonderful and caring Dr Jo a few hours later, the service was impeccable. No judgement. No forcing anything. Just compassion, care and love for Evie and genuine sympathy for us. Dr Jo let us know what he was doing, and after the first sedative injection took effect, he asked if we wished to proceed. No pressure. No reproach. After the last injections, Dr Jo left the room so our other two dogs could say goodbye. He said he wanted to keep everyting calm for us, our other dogs and Evie. Even afterwards, when I placed Evie in the bed they provided, the care and respect was perfect. A very sad, emotional and stressful day, but they made it a little easier to know Evie went with dignity at home surrounded by those who loved her. Such a caring, compassionate and respectful company that understand the trauma of losing a beloved pet, and helps them depart with dignity. They even dealt with the aftercare side and the cremation. It'll be a few weeks til we have our girl back home. We miss her dreadfully, and we'll remember her how she was before her illness took hold. From my wife and I, we truly thank Dr Jo and the team for helping our girl go with the dignity she deserved.

From beginning to end, Pets2home were professional, kind and patient. Dr Jo came out to see us and he was so gentle and patient. I couldn't fault this service and although absolutely heart broken, they made our darling girls final experience the nicest possible. Thank. you to all the staff, we are eternally grateful.

I’ve been been meaning to write a review for the wonderful Dr Suzen and her Vets2Home for some time now, but have struggled with the grief following our final goodbye to our beautiful boy, Napoleon almost six weeks ago now. He had been unexpectedly ill with a sudden deterioration of his health that meant we had to make that hard decision no pet parent wants to make. And we knew we wanted this to be at home, with familiar surroundings for him, with his loved ones. We were recommended Vets2Home by a friend as well as our vets, and needed to make an impromptu arrangement for that evening, following some time with our beloved little boy. Knowing the urgency, Dr Suzen and her team accommodated us into their schedule with no hesitation. Given this was our first experience, and knowing how ill Napoleon was, Dr Suzen was gentle and calm in her directions, giving us so much time with no rush, even staying so much longer with us whilst we were going through such overwhelming emotions as our baby passed peacefully. You could tell that Dr Suzen is someone who comes from the heart with her own personal experience and care with an empathy that was very human and reassuring for us. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻 x For such a sad experience, every moment of communication with Vets2Home was considered and thoughtful with such care. We highly recommend Vets2Home services for gentle and peaceful home goodbyes.
