Eastbourne Vets is a veterinary nurse training facility and appears to operate across more than one practice/branch (one reviewer describes attending “both practices”). Recent reviews are mixed: several owners describe friendly, thorough consultations and staff who take time to settle dogs before examining them, while a smaller number report serious problems including inconsistent diagnoses across different vets, rushed appointments, and poor sensitivity around euthanasia.

Absolutely awful vets, our poor family cat aged 9 was seen by 3 different vets, all diagnosed him with different ailments… surgery and a ridiculous amount of medication prescribed, none of which worked, visited both the practices with my cat for just over 2 weeks, every time there was more cost, it added up to nearly £2000!!! The vets was very unsympathetic, no care or support was given to my cat or myself.. every appointment was very rushed. My cat was put to sleep sadly and even then know comfort for us as pet owners! The whole time it was upsetting and no sensitivity was given, even when I picked up his ashes it was like collecting something from a shop! This whole experience with these 2 practices as completely upset our family and I will never recommend them to anyone.

I try it again later 10 minutes. really good and then again. still I haven't got through. !! I've wasted my time about 1 hour it seems quicker just to go down there then phoning. how ridiculous....

I needed one tablet of Apoquel for my dog - I had to stay in Eastbourne overnight unexpectedly and did not have the tablets with me. I went at 8.30 am. with the dog( a Frenchie ) and asked for a tablet, or he would scratch all day. My vet sent the patient history at that time, and all that needed to be done was to dispense the tablet. I was told it would happen shortly. As I work opposite, I went again at 10. The receptionist could not help me, and the one that I talked to earlier was in training. So I went again at midday - now the other receptionist was in training, and the vet was busy. I phoned at 1 pm - the vet went to lunch, and my single tablet was still unavailable. Finally, after 3 pm , I could collect it at a cost of £25 ( prescription dispensing fee). At no time during the day there were people or animals at the reception, it was always empty. It might be a nice place. It is just such a shame that nobody there cares.

Just been to Eastboure Vet at Acaia Villas for my dog's vacation boosters. Whoever is on reception duies always make you feel welcome and the staff are so polite. The vets and nurses make you feel like your pet is the best pet in the world. They all clearly love animals. I've been using Eastbourne Vets for over 20 years. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I had a problem with my doh and came here. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. I had to wait a little bit but when I saw the vet she was caring and put out the options clearly. The treatment was about £1k to remove a lump from her ear.
